JP Rechtsanwälte advises DODUCO Holding GmbH on the sale of the DODUCO group from Tinicum Capital Partners II LP to the SAXONIA group

22/07/2020  The SAXONIA group has acquired DODUCO Holding GmbH based in Pforzheim and its subsidiaries in Germany, China, Romania and Spain.

JP Rechtsanwälte advised DODUCO Holding GmbH and its subsidiaries as target companies in the transaction under the lead of partner Dr. Jens-Peter Eickhoff.

The DODUCO Group is a manufacturer of electrical contacts. The company’s product range includes contact materials and semi-finished contact products, bimetal strip, precision stamped parts and electromechanical assemblies as well as galvanic coatings. DODUCO was founded as a precious metal separating company.

The seller Tinicum Capital Partners II LP is a fund managed by the investment company Tinicum Incorporated which invests in private and listed companies.

The SAXONIA Group is a specialist in precious metal recycling and the manufacture of precious metal products for the user industry.

We are pleased to announce that JP Rechtsanwälte has been able to win Dr. Jan Stoppel as a new partner. The proven expert for questions relating to regulated real estate funds will join the team of JP Rechtsanwälte on 1 January 2021.

Dr. Jan Stoppel can look back on many years of experience in the field of transactions, the structuring and launch of closed and open-ended real estate funds in a regulated environment as well as general real estate business law. Most recently, Dr. Jan Stoppel was managing director of a well-known capital management company. Since 2014, he has played a major role in building up management assets of approximately 2 billion euros. Prior to this, Dr. Jan Stoppel worked for several years as a lawyer at the international law firm DLA Piper, specialising in Corporate/M&A and Real Estate.

With the accession of Dr. Jan Stoppel, JP Rechtsanwälte is initiating its targeted growth and will also gain an extremely experienced and well-connected partner in the growth market of regulated investment products relating to real estate.

Pacemakers Digital Ventures GmbH was founded in 2019 by Dr Peter Henssen, Julius Hansen and Robin Rohrmann and has since been on an impressive growth trajectory. 17.03.2022 The Hahn Group has acquired a retail park in Bad Segeberg for its institutional fund HAHN German Retail Fund IV.

IBG group expands with JP Rechtsanwälte its product portfolio in the field of welding technology

21/02/2019  The IBG group has assumed the business operations of Jäckle Schweiß- und Schneidtechnik GmbH and Jäckle + Ess GmbH & Co. KG as of 1 January 2019. JP Rechtsanwälte advised the Cologne-based IBG group under the lead of its partner Dr. Jens-Peter Eickhoff on this purchase from insolvency.

The business operations of both companies were merged into the newly founded Jäckle & Ess System GmbH which now continues to run them.

Insolvency proceedings were opened over the assets of Jäckle Schweiß- und Schneidtechnik GmbH on 1 October 2018.

The IBG group is a medium-sized industrial holding company with an international presence in the three business fields of welding technology, tungsten and ceramic components as well as construction chemicals. Today, more than 50 sales and production companies belong to the IBG group worldwide.
